Jeff Walter for Congress
Jeff Walter is a leader who gets results.
A retired U.S. Navy Master Chief Petty Officer (E-9) and the current Mayor of Elburn, Illinois, Jeff has dedicated his life to service—first to our nation, now to our community.
He’s running for Congress to bring common sense, accountability, and real-world experience to Washington.
For more than 20 years, Jeff served with honor in the U.S. Navy, rising to the highest enlisted rank through hard work, discipline, and proven leadership. After retiring from the Navy, he built a successful career in technology and consulting, helping public and private organizations tackle tough challenges—from AI and data systems to digital transformation. As Mayor, Jeff has led the charge to modernize infrastructure, support small businesses, strengthen public safety, and deliver for families—all while keeping taxes low and balancing budgets.
Jeff’s business background means he knows how to balance a budget, manage complex operations, and drive innovation. His academic credentials—a B.S. in Finance (University of South Florida), M.S. in Manufacturing Management (University of Toledo), and MBA (New York Institute of Technology)—underscore his ability to take on big problems and deliver smart solutions.
A husband, father, veteran, and public servant, Jeff believes Congress needs more leaders who listen, not lecture. He’ll fight to protect your tax dollars, defend your freedoms, and secure a better future for Illinois families. Jeff lives in Elburn with his family and is ready to be your voice in Washington.
